8-course vegetarian @ $36.80++! 🤩

with the rise of impossible (plant-based) meats, the walk towards healthier eating is starting to gain good traction. but even without impossible meat, vegetarian food can taste good - sufood proves it! 💫

recently i brought my dad to try the 8-course dinner at sufood and it left our tummies so satisfied 😋 for $36.80++, you get an appetiser, bread stick, cider, salad, soup, main, dessert and a beverage. for the price, i would say it’s super worth it 🤑

what we had:

1. appetiser - yuca root, sea grapes, tomato plum jelly

2. bread stick

3. mulberry cider

4. salad - baked button mushroom w garlic butter

5. soup - pumpkin corn soup w coconut cream/miso-kombu soup w lotus seeds

6. mains - wild mushroom spaghetti w pesto sauce/5-grain rice w black truffle

7. dessert - chocolate lava cake w ice cream

8. beverage - hawthorn chrysanthemum tea

while the first 3 items were fixed, you get a variety of choices for the rest. my dad and i got the same dishes except for the main dishes but i guess it’s because our taste buds are too similar 🤨

every dish served tasted better than the one before so for me it was a really great experience 🍇🥖🍷🍝🍰 the pesto spaghetti tasted better than non-vegetarian ones as it had a rich, flavourful nutty taste to it 🫘 the only thing i thought was rather disappointing is the baked button mushroom which tasted bland 🙁
