popular Taiwanese eatery in Kovan 🍚

I’ve been seeing 8 degrees 8度空間-人文茶館 @Kovan on TikTok and Lemon8 so many times and I was like, “is it that good???!” 😱 As my friends and I were meeting for dinner, I suggested this place since they had so many good reviews!

We ordered 5 dishes and 3 drinks which costed us ~$51 in total! Price wise, I think it was pretty affordable. Most (if not all) of the dishes were less than $10 each! 🤑

HOWEVER, I have to say that we were pretty disappointed by the food… The salted chicken just tasted like fried chicken chunks without much seasoning. 🍗 As for the mee sua, I would say that Shihlin’s mee sua is much nicer!! The one here was a little bit too bland for my liking. We all also agreed that we have had better braised pork rice elsewhere. 🍚

I do have to give them credit for their drinks though. The bubble milk tea that I bought was pretty good! Not too sweet, strong tea taste and very creamy/full/thick.

The outlet I visited was a 5-min walk from Kovan MRT station but they do have other outlets too (refer to the last pic). 👍🏻
