hi fitspo beans, today i’ll be sharing my main 5 exercises that I would do during a pull day workout. It usually takes me about 1.5hrs to complete these workouts!

1. Single Lat Pulldowns πŸ’ͺ🏻

To start us off, we will be doing some single lat pulldowns. As mentioned in my previous posts or for those that are new here, I like to focus on more single arm stuff as it reduces the risk of having muscle imbalances!

I also like to use this exercise as a general warm up for my back so i’ll start from a lighter weight of 9.5kg first before going to my top which is at 16kg! 🫢🏼

2. Cable Rows πŸ’ͺ🏻

Next cable rows, now there’s a difference between the grip equipment that you use to row as well. For myself I took the wider grip so that this will target my upper back more instead of my lats!

3. Single Arm Bendover rows πŸ’ͺ🏻

This exercise targets my lats again! As you can tell I like alternate my lats and my back so that my muscle for that group will not get tired out as compared to doing 2 exercises of lats consecutively!

4. Hammer Curls, 5. Bicep curls πŸ’ͺ🏻

The difference between these two workouts is that one targets the long head of my biceps aka hammer curls while the other targets the short head of my biceps aka bicep curls! The shorter head produces the peak of the biceps when you flex but training the long head also balances out your bicep muscles in general i believe!
