re-opened five oars at tanjong pagar ☕

i am in love with the aesthetic of the re-opened five oars at heritage! the brick walls, alfresco dining and earthy tones really reminds me a little of higher ground in melbourne. going to cafes alone in the morning after a workout is a real vibe and i decided to drop by five oars this time!

what i ordered:

🧀 burrata with peach, tomato and crostini

☕ flat white

rest assured, their highly raved mac and cheese is still on the menu but i wanted to try something different and went for the burrata! i would have never thought to pair burrata with peaches but the combination of the creamy and savory cheese with the charred sweet peaches is a dream for my taste buds! the tomatos and vegetables added a nice refreshing touch with a lemon vinagrette sauce that helps to cuts through the richness of the burrata.

i thought it was interesting that they have a different menu for dinner (with cocktails too) and hope to be back to try one day!
