Now that the cafe culture is booming across the globe, I made it a point to try a few coffee places in my short 3 days in BKK. Here are 3 of my favourite places you should visit!

โ˜•๏ธ Little Blue Coffee Stand [$$ โ€“ 130 BAHT]

Tucked in a little corner in Ekkamai is Little Blue, an artisanal coffee stand that brews amazing coffee. They had three different flavours to choose from, and I went with their special blend โ€” a mix between fruity and nutty. I was pleasantly surprised because their coffee didnโ€™t taste acidic though fruity. They also sell their home roasted beans on Shopee but itโ€™s not available in SG :( Really worth the visit here, especially since thereโ€™s a cute croissant shop across the street!

$$ (130Baht)

โ˜•๏ธ Omise Cafe [$ โ€“ 65 BAHT]

A small tenant in the big Chatuchak market, this coffee stand draws many visitors as they seek a refreshing drink amidst their shopping! The coffee here are brewed from Thai-Brazil beans, giving it a nutty caramel taste with a hint of white flower. It also has a very Japanese aesthetic store front and an open concept that lets you watch the coffee making process up close!

โ˜•๏ธ Kokodrip Coffee [$ โ€“ 70 BAHT]

This quaint little shop tucked amidst the art section felt was a little more tailored to the locals. The coffee here was done in a pour over method, allowing the coffee to taste like on the palate when drank. Itโ€™s also topped up with hand beaten foam cream to give it an extra pop of flavour. Of all coffee drunk in BKK, this tasted the most Asian โ€“ almost like a light version of a Kopi O Kosong x Viet Coffee blend. It was a refreshing change from the usual arabica beans so I quite enjoyed it!

I didnโ€™t manage to visit more cafes during my time there S we wanted to focus on the local landscape, but do leave your recommendations if any for me to visit in future!
