Sooooo I had a panic attack tonight lmfao love that for me but I have a few tips that work pretty well for grounding yourself (especially when you’re alone).

1. Let yourself freak out (I know, crazy, but chances are you might’ve been suppressing what you were feeling for a while, in which case you should allow yourself to finally feel some of it)

2. Drink some cold water (that always makes me feel better)

3. Weighted ANYTHING. Pictured above is my weighted dinosaur and I love him. 10/10. I also have three weighted blankets lol and I love those as well

4. Magnesium. I have some magnesium pills, and I took one to help calm me down. A natural way to make yourself feel better (though if you have actual anxiety medication and it helps, take that!! No shame or judgement!!)

5. TART CHERRY JUICE. I started drinking this to help me fall asleep, but I swear it also helps for anxiety??? 10/10

6. Listen to soothing music (whatever that means for you). My top 2 are “chasing cars” by snow patrol and “flightless bird American mouth” by iron & wine

7. Call or text somebody you trust & love. Cuz you don’t have to go through this alone, nor should you!

8. A hot shower. Those always relax me. (Or a bath, whatever floats your boat!) Manhattan
