the biggest night market i’ve ever been to 😋

If you’re in Taichung, Fengjia Night Market is a must visit since it’s one of the largest night markets there! From your local street foods to childhood snacks to affordable fashion, it’s an endless street of shopping and eating. 🤪

👉🏻 If you’re visiting Fengjia Night Market soon, here are some of the foods I’ve tried:

1️⃣ 虾爆蛋 Prawn Egg 🍤

🌟 Rating: 7/10

Saw a short queue for this and decided to try it! We got the two flavours one with seaweed and mayonnaise, which was pretty good! Felt like the portion could feed 2-3 pax better though as it was too much for us 2 girls.

2️⃣ 盐酥菇 Salted Fried Mushrooms 🍄

🌟 Rating: 7.5/10

If you like salted chicken, you’ll love this too! The taste is similar to that of 盐酥鸡 but comes with more juices from the mushrooms. I love that they provided a variety of mushrooms as well, from enoki to shitake and oyster mushroom!

3️⃣ 麻油鸡 Sesame Chicken 🍗

🌟 Rating: 7.5/10

Gotta try some sesame chicken when you’re in Taiwan! It’s so flavourful and the chicken was tender, best part is that it’s so affordable! 💖

4️⃣ 大肠包小肠 Sausage Wrapped in Rice 🌭

🌟 Rating: 6.5/10

Not the best sausage I’ve had, though this was quite popular and had a queue there. The size was pretty huge but that’s cos it’s filled with more rice. Love the huge portion of garlic though as it was so fragrant! 😋
