this cafe serves cute IG-worthy cakes & tarts 😍

It was a hot sunny afternoon and we just ended our lip balm making workshop at The Handmade Lab. As we were exploring the area for a quick air-conditioned escape, we found Morihana Pastry which offers a range of dainty cakes and tarts, as well as refreshing fruit punch and coffee. 😮‍💨

The cosy and aesthetic atmosphere was just what we needed when we entered the cafe! It was bustling with people on a Sunday afternoon but we managed to get a seat quickly. 🥳

🌟 Signatures include the Fuji [RM20] 🏔️ (made of matcha mousse and matcha nama chocolate crowned with crunchy salted caramel nuts), Rose Watermelon [RM20] 🌹🍉 (an almond cake layered with watermelon, lychee and strawberry), Okinawa Tomitsu Mont Blanc [RM24] 🍾, Rabenda [RM23] 🌌 (a galaxy-glazed earl grey cake with lavender mousse) and Rum & Raisin [RM23] 🍹 (with a strong alcoholic punch).

👉🏻 We ordered the Fuji 🏔️ and the Yashi [RM23] 🥥 (coconut mousse, passion mango compote, pandan dacquoise, coconut saber cookie) as well as a Watermelon Punch [RM12]. The desserts are a little on their pricier side but I guess it’s mostly for the gram… 😅 Overall, just a nice little cafe for you to take cute pics of the food and chill with your besties!
