Hi guys! I wanted to share some tips that I wish I knew when I first started my fitness journey…

First off is food. There is so many different opinions, ideas, and diets out there and it seems like every fitness influencer is saying something different. I will say I’ve tried many different approaches but what I have found to work the best and that I like the best is simply sticking to Whole Foods and minimizing processed foods. I like to think that for the most part you can’t go wrong with eating like this because it’s honestly how humans are supposed to eat. I would suggest getting protein from meat, eggs, and nuts instead of using powders, bars, and other protein foods.

Next, don’t forget to hit upper body! You’d be surprised how much developing your back, shoulders and chest will completely transform your body composition. And no… you will not get too bulky:)

Lastly don’t worry too much about cardio especially on the tredmill or stair master. Walking is your best way to shed fat and to keep it off. Walking is so much more realistic and maintainable to Incorporate into your routine for the long run.
