The wrong question to be asking more experienced lifters or people with nice physiques is “What is your workout routine?” Or “What do you do on leg/arm/back/(whatever) days?”

This is because you will be met with a lot of redundancy. Most people actually do the same exact handful of “basic” workouts. Seeing results it’s not about finding the secret workout routine or doing the most complicated movements, it’s about staying consistent with the SAME ROUTINE.

“Basic” workouts are “basic” for a reason, THEY WORK.

Pick 3-4 of these workouts for each muscle group, and STICK TO THEM. The gains will show 😎

If anything, the better questions to ask people are:

- “What kind of meals do you eat to help you attain your fitness goals?”

- “How many reps/ sets do you do for your workouts usually?” OR “Do you mostly train for strength building or endurance?”

These questions are more likely to be answered differently from person to person and the results based off their answers will vary.
