❓what we ordered:

- $4.90 mentai fries

- premium tendon set meal $12.90 + hot udon $4

- tori tendon set meal $12.90 + hot udon $4

💬 thoughts:

- premium tendon: 2 X Tempura Prawns, Squid, Kani Kama, Pumpkin, Lotus Root and French Beans, glazed with Special “Tenya’s Tendon Tare”

- tori tendon: Tempura Chicken, Chicken Karaage, Tempura Egg, Pumpkin and Sweet Potato

- batter was crispy, and not too thick or thin! super important when it comes to tendon :)

- prawns were not overcooked, and seemed fresh

- chicken, pumpkin, squid and sweet potato were yummy too

- sauce was definitely a must! helped enhance the flavours so much

- rice and udon were cooked well! (udon and soup were separated for takeaway, so thought was put into it for sure to prevent sogginess)

- mentaiko fries were yummmssss but wished it had more mentaiko sauce for the amount of fries, but no other complains!

💭overall: 9.5/10

- for the price, the portion is HUGE!!!! it's really lots of tempuras over rice, and with additional udon to finish?! i can't believe i finished the mentaiko fries too

- really struggled to finish towards the end because i was soso full but, this shows how VALUE FOR MONEY IT WAS!!!!

- i loved everything about it and would definitely visit this place again to dine in next time #WithMyBesties ! 🥰❤️ i'm sure they'll appreciate a sumptuous tempura meal to fill their bellies~~~ 🤩😚😋
