Milky fish soup made with NO MILK!? 🐟

You didn't hear that wrongly — Ka-Soh is probably the only place in Singapore selling milky fish soup without the addition of milk. And the lactose intolerance in us thanks us for that 🤪

Being the last surviving outlet of this Michelin-approved restaurant, Ka-Soh has gone a long way since the 80s with their signature 🍜 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 ($9). What makes their fish soup stand out from the rest is its broth, which is simmered with fish bones over a long period of time, resulting in a naturally milky colour. It doesn’t taste fishy and was somehow creamy which is crazy for soup with no milk added in

The fish slices were rly fresh and they were v generous with the portioning! The only thing we were disappointed with was their customer service. When we declined their achar, the server was like 🤨😒 and walked away, leaving us puzzled. Probably the reason for their 3.4 star rating on google 🙃🙃

Though Ka-Soh's fish soup costs 2x the price of a regular fish soup in food courts, we are q convinced of its quality 😋 It was also a very chill ambience with aircon, perfect for a cosy htht
