I’ve struggled with acne for YEARS. Definitely believe I have some internal (probably hormonal) issue going on. 🫠 It’s only been in the last year that I’ve really buckled down on researching root causes of acne and how to cure them with lasting holistic methods vs just slapping on a treatment or taking a pill and hoping for the best.

But, products do play a role in skin health! I have spent the last few months using the apps and websites above to clean up my skincare shelf and makeup bag. My goal is to shop for products that are safe yet effective, and won’t contribute to any more blemishes. Non-toxic AND non-comedogenic is my aim (because what’s the point of a “safe” product if it’s loaded with coconut oil that will cause major breakouts? 🥴)
