Must See Spots on the Southern Oregon Coast

The southern Oregon coast has some of the best coastal views I have ever seen, most along the Samuel H Boardman State Scenic corridor. It is sandwiched between Brookings and Gold Beach, which are little towns that also have beautiful beaches (and surprisingly good thai food in Gold Beach)

Don’t miss these spots when visiting the southern Oregon coast:

Natural Bridges: A very iconic picture spot, but also pretty sketchy to get down to! Be sure to wear good footwear and be safe.

Secret Beach: Not so secret, as it can easily be found on Google maps and is a short walk from the highway pull off to get to.

Pistol River: You’ll want to park at the Pistol River Scenic Viewpoint, and walk down towards Crook’s Point! Crook’s point has an incredible view of seastacks, but it is a conservation area and you are not allowed to trespass, so walking along the beach at low tide is the best way to get closest to the sea stacks in the distance.
