my BEST jb itinerary yet!!! 😳😋

i would do this all over again, hands down my FAVOURITE jb trip yet hehe 😋😋😋

transportation in jb: we grabbed everywhere. just remember to change payment mode to ‘cash’ when booking.

booking of activities (ATV, massage, buffet dinner): we booked the night before the trip and were lucky to get the slots we wanted.

data: i bought 1GB from singtel for $5. but you can get cheaper on shoppee esim.

ITINERARY:

🚌 transport from SG to JB 🚌

we decided to meet at woodlands MRT at 630am because it was a saturday and we had to go by manual entry at the customs, instead of e-gate. so to avoid any potential jams, we met super early and took public bus. personally i dont like the train route option because you have to follow the time slots quite strictly and if you’re late you miss your train. anyway, we cleared customs really fast in 45 minutes and reached JB at 715am.

1️⃣ stop: breakfast at roast and coffee ☕️🍜🍛🍳

📍62&63, Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, Bandar Johor Bahru, 80000

we walked 10-15minutes from customs to this popular breakfast stop that sells a variety of food! we had milo, laksa, salted egg fried rice, soft boiled eggs for 💸 40rm ish total. 🍳🍜

after that we took a stroll down the street to a big pharmacy and 7-11. the thrift shops and others were closed cause it was still so early. and opposite roast and coffee is the famous 🍌 banana cake shop though im not sure what time it opens. if roast and coffee is too crowded, theres another popular food shop nearby that’s open early.

2️⃣ stop: ATV park johor

📍Seelong Ekoflora Trail, 35, Jalan Ekoflora 6/5, Taman ekoflora, 81300, Johor Bahru

💸: 150rm/pax

we took ride B, single ATV, 12pm slot (1.5h), highly highly recommend!!

💫tip: google maps indicate a 30-40minutes drive from roast and coffee BUT leave earlier. because we had a lot of buffer time we left at 1015am to reach by 1130am (reporting time), but our grab driver got lost so we only reached at 1115am.

3️⃣ stop: mid valley southkey mall

came here just for🍦dessert at baskin robins. and went to sports shoe shops. nothing much tbh your typical mall that you can find in SG, but we chilled here for a different vibe.

4️⃣ stop: kedia dhoby shanghi + thrift shops nearby

📍1 min walk from roast and coffee

bought two SUPER ADORBS tight fitting baby tees from kedia shop 2nd level, 💸 60rm each. they also have 🐱 little kittens so if you love cats do come here and say hello!! the rest of the shops also have a huge range of curated clothes and accessories, with really differing prices, but i didnt find anything i like.

5️⃣ stop: silver thai spa

📍Block C, Ground Floor, Silver Thai Spa @ Plaza Sentosa, Plaza Sentosa, Jalan Sutera, Taman Sentosa, Johor Bahru

💸: foot massage for 64rm/pax

booked 6-7pm slot for massage. they have really nice interior and the staff were super good! because we were a lil dirty from ATV we asked to bathe after the session and they allowed with fresh towels. we left at 730pm.

6️⃣ stop: dinner at kumora japanese buffet

📍TD Central 3, Jalan Sagu 21, Taman Daya, 81100

💸: classic buffet for 175rm/pax without GST

booked 8-10pm slot and the buffet was amazing.

unlimited raw food- 🍣 salmon, tuna, 🦪 oysters and cooked food. we wrote in the notes that we were having a celebration and they did not disappoint.

💫tip: come earlier if can. we came at exactly 8pm and we already saw customers seated and dining.

💫tip2: skip lunch. we had dessert instead for lunch because we wanted to ensure we were hungry for the buffet.
