the end of my 22-weeks internship 💌🥹🙈

finally had the time to edit and post this 🥹 as u can see from the title, it is about the end of my 22 weeks #Internship (bittersweet feeling that it has ended on 8 August 😭😭)

during my last week, I purchased and prepared gifts for the children in my class & teachers in the centre!

on 8 August, it was just a typical day to the centre but it really kicked in that it was the last time I’m walking up the hill to the centre as an intern, the last time I will be having my lunch break sitting in the hall during kids nap time, the last time I’m interacting with all the children in the centre 😭 (I’M MISSING THEM SM 🥹🥹) but of course 8 August was also National Day Celebration for them~ so it was a little special day :D I also helped out with the nursery class performance tehee 🤭 in the morning, they celebrated National Day with the nursery class performance & also played some games!!

During their nap time, after my final lunch break, I prepared finished all the gifts and headed to all the classes to hand out the gifts to the teachers 🫶🏻 my principal also surprised me with mister donut (it was so cute that she brought along a toddler kid to give it to me 🥹)

After the nap time, i was assigned to help out in the baby class and I really love spending my time with them THEY ARE THE CUTEST AND SO HEALING 😝 I was also called back to my class and accidentally came too early and bump into my class preparing the gift for me OOPS 🙈 HAHA but I took my last class photo with them & also handled them my gift! and took photo with each of them <3 (but sadly that day was missing 2 kiddos 🥹)

the most surprising thing was that the interns whom I interacted for only 4 days surprised me with a gift too 😭 they prepared snacks and also the most heartfelt gift - cards from the children and the teachers ❤️ people who know me knows how much these kind of gifts means to me in the world to receive those 🥹🤍

but this really marks the end of my 22-weeks internship here ~ it really didn’t felt like 6 months flew past like this 🥹 if you tell 6 months ago joanne that internship went by so fast, she wouldn’t believe you… but I’m proud of myself throughout this journey and I can’t wait for the rest of my polytechnic journey awaiting me ❤️
