“Not recommended” 包子

Bao / 包子 is said to be one of the unhealthy type of breakfast food! But when it comes to this, I never skipped this whenever I am in Hualien.

What I really like about this 正公子包

1️⃣ the bao is soft and not dry, unlike some bao in Singapore that you feel as if you need to gulp water to swallow it.

2️⃣ the meat is nicely seasoned and it’s too salty

3️⃣ the steamed dumpling has a very thin wrap with tons of meat. Good for those who doesn’t want to carbo load in the morning!

While you are there, check out the 庙口红茶 shop just next to it. Their red tea is served through the pipe and their egg wrap is nice too!
