Yes, the journey to invest my SRS continues.

This round, I am trying out StashAway - a cash management portfolio which I just discovered. Simple Guaranteed is basically a fixed deposit (sort of), and just like banks - it offers a simple way to earn guaranteed rate on your investment.

The key features are similar to putting your money into FDs.

1. The yield is fixed upon committing. Their rates do change, so make sure you compare before deciding if this is better than banks.

2. Different tenors, starting from 3 months.

3. There are no minimum and maximum deposits

4. Can invest using cash or SRS

However, do note that StashAway is afterall not a bank. What StashAway does is to put the underlying funds into fixed deposits of MAS-regulated banks. One thing to note thou, is that Simple Guaranteed is not cover by SDIC and so, what they do is lower the risks by investing in FDs with banks regulated by the MAS.
