Seasonal produce and amazing wine here in WA 🇦🇺

Yarri Restaurant + Bar has arguably one of the best degustation menu and wine pairing we have tried in Margaret River. Here’s what we ate:

Starters

🥖 Sourdough bread with extra virgin olive oil

🌮 Emu tartare with buckwheat taco

Entrees

🦐 Cured shark bay prawns with fermented tomato and XO sauce

👅 Wagyu tongue with tuna paste, fried shallots and radish

Main

🥩 650g of wood grilled sirloin steak with a black garlic and miso butter sauce

Sides

🍟 Polenta fries with jalapeño and parmesan (top up for AUD 15/SGD 13)

Desserts

🧀 Brie cheese with rye and local fruits

🍨 Sponge cake and lemon sorbet with white chocolate and almonds

🍷 Wine pairing was amazing and they were from snake & herring, a local winery in Margaret River. We would have bought some if the restaurant sold them.

💡Ambience was cosy but service can be quite slow.
