ATV and sandboarding in Western Australia 🇦🇺

Sand dunes near Perth? Yes, that’s right! Lancelin Sand Dunes is located about 1.5 hours drive from Perth city and perfect for an adventurous day out.

💰 Price: We bought the tickets at SGD 127 per pax from Trip.com as they have tickets just for ATV and sandboarding, unlike the day trip ones on Klook.

🏎️ ATV ride

The ATV ride was amazing but slightly too long (1 hour) and our thumbs were already tired at the mid way point. The initial few kilometers was pretty fun but the views got slightly repetitive as the desert and dunes sights were mostly the same. Sunglasses are a must to prevent the sand from getting to the eyes.

🏄 Sandboarding

There is a huge selection of boards to select from and chalk to make the board extra slippery for smoother rides. The dunes is quite a walk away and we recommend shifting your car nearer if you are driving. The sandboarding experience was exhilarating as you go down the dunes but it was so tiring walking back up. We did it a few times each and called it a day.

❗️The nearest toilet and convenience store is about 15 minutes drive away. So use the toilet and buy your water before arriving.
