Tips for passing immigration in Hanoi airport

Hello my fellow zesties! First post, first holiday to an unfamiliar country, starting off with some tips when passing through immigration in the capital of Vietnam.

1) After disembarking the plane, you'll see this ceramic wall painting at the very end towards clearing customs. Most people will be crowded here waiting at the very first immigration counter in line.

2) Do not stop here. Cut through the crowd and walk to the very last few counters and join the queue from there.

3) There might be people queueing for visa application (in the opposite direction) and registering for auto gates (in both directions) around this area as well. Do not join these queues as Singaporeans do not need a visa, and we are not eligible for autogate (for Vietnamese only!).
