visit the clifftop views & scenic trails here! 🥾🪵

from panoramic clifftop views to bridges over streams, one of the latest green spots to visit is definitely rifle range nature park - which just opened november last year! 🌳 before planning our visit there, we wanted to maximise our time there because it's all the way in the west 🥲 so i decided to share what we have planned so that you can also make the best use of your time there 😉

1️⃣ lunch @ beauty world food centre

• it's quite unique cuz it's an opened-air hawker that's located on the 4th floor of beauty world centre

• there's simply so many good food there!! our recommended stores are the tausuan store, xlb store & chicken soy noodles stall 🤭

2️⃣ hiking @ rifle range nature park

• this nature park was built to serve as a a green buffer to protect bukit timah nature reserve

• if you don't intend to hike to macritchie or bukit timah nature reserve, the whole journey around the nature park is around 1 hour

• overall, it was a pretty easy walk that can be visited anytime from 7am to 7pm

some landmarks

🚶🏻‍♀️ rambai broadwalk

• this is the entrance from beauty world centre & you'll get a bird's eye view of the place

• you might be able to spot some squirrels and colugos too 🤩

🍃 visitor pavilion

• learn more about the park's history like how NParks reclaimed the land 4 times before it was suitable for both humans & animals 😱

• it's the only place with water cooler & toilet so make sure you use them before embarking on the trails

⛰️ quarry wetland

• the perfect photo opportunity with the scenic wetland against a rocky backdrop

• climb up via the colugo trail with 2 routes - the challenging (30m) & moderate (50m)

• before you make it up to the colugo deck - the viewing deck is 31m above the quarry & the view is definitely a 10/10 😍

🛖 waterhen hide

• this lookout spot has small holes for you to observe the birds and get up close to the wetland l

• there's also a comfy bench for you to take a break and enjoy the views all around 👍🏻

3️⃣ coffee break @ flagwhite

• it's a cosy space in the peaceful bukit timah neighbourhood

• the coffee & chocolate are sourced from local suppliers & craftsmen, which tasted really good 💯

• we also ordered 2 sides to share - which were really value for money!!
