FAKE ABIB MASK??????

I love the ABIB mask, which I bought from The Saem. The Saem is known for their concealer, I believe, and they carry many lesser-known brands as well. They are selling this ABIB mask for around $20 to $30 for a box of 10 pieces. Initially, I thought it was okay because the box looked authentic. Some friends also mentioned that they bought from stores like Mask Story and others sell similar products along Myeongdong street, offering them at cheaper prices and in bulk compared to Olive Young. I thought to myself, why would they sell fake items in Korea when there’s so much competition? If people find out they are selling fakes, they won’t want to repurchase, putting them at a loss?????? So, I assumed it must be genuine.

To my surprise, when I unboxed it to pack the masks in my luggage, I noticed that the packaging was different. Upon closer inspection, I could clearly see differences in the packaging, including details like ingredients and usage instructions. If you zoom in, you can see a side by side comparison.

To be fair, I can’t say for sure if it’s fake, but it definitely doesn’t look like the original product at all. I don’t think I’ll dare to try it 🥴
