this AUTHENTIC korean restaurant opens till 11pm 😋

back with another authentic korean restaurant find! this one is specially recommended by one of my close friends, who found this restaurant while she was having her lunch break and she urged me to try this out once i'm back in school for classes and so... here it is🤣

— RESTAURANT AMBIENCE 🍁

one thing i love about woori nara is that it gives off really home-ly vibes! from the exterior brick walls to the interior wall decor and lantern-like lighting, it makes the restaurant stands out from all the other shops along the same path🤩 not to mention that the layout is really spacious and there's even a huge tv screen, where the staff plays lots of kpop music performances and content, which got me and my friend vibing along to it 😆

— OUR ORDER 🍲

as soondubu jjigae lovers, my friend and i both ordered the spicy tofu soup, which comes with rice! to our surprise, the soup taste really appetising (like 开胃 feeling) and rich in flavours😮 apart from the typical ingredients such as tofu and and mushroom, there's also an number of seafood ingredients present such as crabs and clams, which definitely adds to the flavourful yet spicy taste🦐 not to mention, it actually cured my sinus for a while HAHA but besides that, it's big portion is also something that makes this meal so filling and worthy despite costing $15!

we've also ordered a plate of kimchi pancake and despite its thin filling, the pancakes were quite crispy and flavourful! i love how you can really savour in the juice from the kimchi and feel that crunch... yums for real🤤

📌 ps: just wanna give a quick shoutout to its menu as it has a huge variety and they even serve bbq sets, perfect for a big family or gathering session!

though we could've easily gotten these simple dishes from the school's food court at a much affordable price, i feel this is a great alternative especially if you're looking for a filling and quality meal. additionally, it's also conveniently located to schools around bukit timah such as ngee ann poly, sim and suss, making it an ideal restaurant for lunch breaks or even hanging out after class! 🥰
