NYC Bluefin Tuna Rib Tasting

finally tried the infamous blue fin tuna rib ✨

i’ve seen this all over the internet and I’ve been wanting to try it! Was able to take my mom to this blue fin tuna rib tasting @saitonyc. We had a special tasting menu that day that was $49 per person! It comes with the tuna rib, crispy rice tuna bites and wagyu stew + a sake drink.

It is quite impressive just how LARGE the bluefin tuna rib is. its crazy to think this came from a singular fish. We get to scrap the tuna fish directly off of the rib.

And wow, the tuna is actually so fresh and so good. It’s like enjoying all different types of tuna sashimi - lean tuna, tuna tartare, toro (fatty tuna). It was perfect with the nori sheets, soy sauce and a dabble of their freshly made wasabi.

would recommend for a special experience!
