bougie dinner date nyc 🌟

my husband took me on a dinner date last week to a bougie restaurant in new york city so I decided to rate the food and share my experience with you guys!

La Grande Boucherie

They serve french food here only and the entrees from what I saw were all $30 and over (pretty typical of nyc tbh). The interior is absolutely stunning and there are so many photo ops here. You definitely want to make a reservation as it does fill up pretty quick!

The dress code seems pretty casual but there are a lot of people who dress up as well.

We had scallops and mussels for an appetizer and the scallops were def better. They were delicious in fact. I wanted to order 2 more plates LOL

For entrees, we got 1 steak and 1 veal chop. I am not a fan of veal but my husband really loved it so if you like veal, you would prob like it! The steak was really delicious tho 10/10. It was cooked to perfection and tasted so so good. It was a bit pricy but I think totally worth it :)

Overall, I really liked this place and I'd say its definitely a nice to go to for a special occasion!
