So Rumours recently just re-opened (think they went through an upgrade of some sort) and my friends and I decided to pop by to catch some beach vibes during the weekend 🤩 we had so much fun in the pool & playing frisbee and we were all so pleasantly surprised that had so so much fun as compared to just having a beach picnic (which is what we do all the time)!!

✅ Access to Pool:

we no longer have to feel the frustration of feeling too hot 🥵 and sandy under the sun, bc we’ve got the pool just right beside us! took turns to play frisbee & soak in the pool when we’re feeling warm and it’s defo much cleaner than the sea!!! tho the pool water can look really ‘cloudy’ at times bc of the excess sunscreen that has dissolved into the water, but other than that, love LOVE the pool

✅ Decent Pricing:

I heard that they’ve lowered their pricing after they reopened, and it’s actually quite worth it! For a daybed that fits up to 6 pax for about 5h:

Weekdays: $100/bed

Weekends: $250/bed

And not to mention that the pricing is actually the indicated minimum spend! which I think is super easy to hit especially if you order drinks 🍺 pairing your summer beach day with a chilled beer can never go wrong!

though tanjong beach clubs still have cheaper rates & can accommodate more people (up to 10 pax)! but I haven’t been there myself

✅ Good Food:

Their food selection is p broad and they have a mix of western & Indo food! We LOVED the acai (it was actually really good and sweet) & the grilled seafood platter were amazing!!! Our favourites also included the nibbles which were the calamari & popcorn chicken which came with their chilli mayo sauce which is 🤤💯 tastes like the spicer version of mentaiko!!!

pack some card games along, beach volleyball and a disc, and you’d be set for your #HotLemon8Summer 🌞 rmb to bring loads of ice water (bc they charge you at an insane price for it) ☺️
