This is probably one of favorite appetizers from Chinese restaurants! It’s crispy, spicy, and juicy!!🤤🤤
✎Ingredients:
*12 wings
*1 cup cornstarch? (didn’t really measure here, just enough to coat the wings)
*1/2 onion
*1 jalapeno (sliced)
*1 tbsp garlic
*1/2 tsp salt
*1/2 tsp black pepper
*1 tsp sugar
*vegetable oil
✎Marinade:
*1/2 tsp garlic powder
*1/2 tsp onion powder
*1/2 tsp white pepper
*1 tbsp shaoxing wine
Directions:
1. Marinate chicken wings with the marinade listed above for 30 mins
2. Coat in cornstarch
3. Fry at 375 for 10 mins and let it rest for 5 mins
4. Optional- double fry for 2-3 mins
5. Create salt, pepper, and sugar seasoning with the measurements above and mix it
6. Sauté jalapeños and onions for 1 min, add garlic and sauté for 1 min
7. Add chicken wings and sprinkle salt, pepper, and sugar seasoning to your taste buds!
