3D2N ANMON GLAMPING RESORT ITINERARY 🏕️

Went to ANMON back in nov for our anniversary trip & it was great! If you’re not familiar with ANMON, it’s a desert themed glamping resort located in Bintan 🏝️ Here’s our itinerary!

Day 1

🔆 We took the 11+am ferry to Bintan & the ANMON bus fetched us to the resort after we arrived ⛴️

🔆 Checked in around 12+pm and had lunch at The Compass Rose - food was not bad but pretty expensive

🔆 We walked to treasure bay to book the activities & scooter but by then most of the popular activities (e.g. ATV) had been fully booked for day so we decided to book the firefly mangrove tour

🔆 The mangrove tour was pretty lame tbh there were only the 2 of us and most of it was in the dark with a few instances of fireflies

🔆 We ordered BBQ from the reception to be delivered at night after the firefly tour - food was well packaged and enough for both of us 🍢

Day 2

🔆 Woke up bright & early for the buffet breakfast which came free with the room - pretty extensive spread and it changes up every day!

🔆 Went for ATV & it was awesome! One of my favs from the trip 🥰

🔆 We also tried out some water sports and basically just chilled at treasure bay 🏄🏻‍♀️

🔆 Headed back for a massage in our own room - we booked this at the reception counter 💆🏻‍♀️

🔆 Had dinner outside of ANMON - took a car and boat ride to the restaurant and transport was free, you just have to inform the ANMON staff in advance so that they can arrange it for you! Food was average but the boat ride experience was pretty fun 🚤 it was wayyyyy better than the mangrove tour so just head out to eat instead and get a free boat ride 🤭

🔆 Came back for some drinks at the Tipi Bar, there’s a DJ playing every weekend night but the crowd was pretty dead

Day 3

🔆 Had buffet breakfast again and checked out earlier to avoid the crowd

Things to note:

📌 ANMON is broken into 2 areas - the tent area and treasure bay. To enter treasure bay, you will need the wristband that was given to you when you check in

📌 Within ANMON, there is only one restaurant, small bar & mama shop at treasure bay 😩 Food & snacks are limited so bring some of your own! Otherwise, you can ask the ANMON staff to arrange a vehicle to bring you out to the nearest convenience shop (it’s not within walking distance)

📌 Book your activities earlier, especially if you’re only staying 2D1N as the popular ones run out of slots pretty quickly

📌 Water & mangrove activities and the scooter have to be booked at treasure bay, there are packages available but we decided to go ala carte

📌 The scooter is not a must since everything is within walking distance so you don’t have to book it if you want to save some $

📌 There are also activities outside of ANMON that you can book on klook such as the desert & blue lake tour

📌 ANMON can get pretty expensive so if you’re on a budget, plan your expenses carefully. I’m not exactly sure how much we spent but it was probably around 800-1000 for the both of us

📌 The room can get really hot in the day despite the aircon since the walls are made of canvas tent material

📌 Keep your tent doors closed to keep out the bugs & frogs

Was it worth it?

I would say yes because I wanted something really chill + sleeping in a huge tent room was an interesting experience 🥰

BUT if you’re looking for a trip that’s exciting and filled with activities then it might not be for you. Also everything felt quite artificial since the whole of ANMON is manmade, including treasure bay so if you’re looking for natural beauty then you might want to top up a little and head over to Bali instead!
