Glow up with Vintage pieces: Flea Market

This was my first time at a vintage flea market in Singapore! And honestly it was pretty good 😊 One of my new year’s resolution is to shop more responsibly and spend my money wisely! I feel like thrifting forces me to do that because the pieces are usually one-of-a-kind so when I don’t connect 100% with the item, I feel like I could leave it for someone else who would appreciate it more than I do!

This is quite a mini flea market but it’s definitely still worth the visit! There are stalls that sold vinyls, retro clothing, vintage jewellery/watches/perfume, vintage camera and other interesting crafts or hobbies like crystals, knitted items, handmade jewellery and even vintage tea cups from 1700s with Queen Victoria’s sigil on them!

I had many wonderful conversations with the stall owners, they were all really sweet! So even though I didn’t leave with any fashion purchases, I did leave with a full heart (cheesy, but it’s true. They’re really lovely people).
