Reserve your Saturdayโs in Sydney for their weekend markets ๐ฅน๐ If you love food or vintage shopping or art, youโll be in paradise! Note, the markets close relatively early at 3-4pm so start your day early if you want to hop from one to another.
1. Markets at Glebe
Itโs one of the most popular markets in Sydney! Youโll find a lot of curated vintage stores at the market alongside other stores selling clothing, accessories and even film cameras/plants. Thereโs options for both male and female and wide variety of styles. So whether you like streetwear or more feminine/80s inspired pieces, youโll find them here. Itโs not as cheap as thrifting since theyโre curated! I did find a real leather jacket for $70 which was a great deal! There are food options here but Iโd say go grab your meals at the many cafes in the area!
2. Rozelle Market
More like a flea market, you could thrift pieces for cheaper here! I bought a Ralph Lauren dress shirt for 20AUD from someone who was selling her preloved closet at the market. There were many old store owners unlike glebe where many of the stores were owned by young individuals, so they were actually selling vintage items at cheap prices. I got a silver ring for $5!! There was also a huge store selling second hand branded clothes but that was quite expensive depending on the brand (in the hundreds).
3. Marrickville Organic Farmers Market
I didnโt have time to go to this market but for food lovers you should!
