Nail Salon Phobia? 😖

I’m back again for another good lobang for girlies who’ve been traumatised by one too many nail salons - Be it their lack of proper sanitation of equipment or their hardcore selling 😭

I’ve given up on packages because before I can even finish spending my package, I’m being hounded to sign or top up the package because there’s a “new promo that won’t come by again” 🤨 (but almost every 2-3 weeks when you come got some promo happening. Do they really think their customers no brain cannot catch their bluff?).

Anyway, besides their hardcore selling, I also stopped going salons because of bad experience from rough handling during the filing of my nails. 3 out of 5 times they’ll file until there’s a cut. Whether it’s my cuticles or the flesh where they like to lean the file against the tip of my finger.

Maybe it’s just me and my luck or that because I always pick cheap deals. Lol, 我活该对吗。

NEVERTHELESS, I think I prefer doing my own nails at a fraction of the salon cost and saving myself from getting cuts. 😁

This nail store at Harbourfront Center was recommended by my mom. She said the lady boss there sells any and every thing you’d need to do you own nails. From regular polishes to gel, to extension mediums.

The store looks meh from the outside but don’t let that stop you from going in. No harm taking a look-see 👀

I got all the items in the cover photo you see above. And I was told by lady boss that $1 spent = 1 point accumulated. 200 points offsets $4 (not bad huh!).

Also, if you purchase their store-brand’s soak off and alcohol, you can return with your empty bottle to refill for $5 (full bottle) only!

I most certainly will go back to get more nail supplies!
