Homemade Tomato Soup 🥫

Well, it’s semi-homemade.😅

I also don’t measure most of the time so, this is just a guideline but it’s delicious!😋

•Family size can of Great Value tomato soup (plain/regular) whatever style it’s called

•About 1 cup heavy whipping cream (I froth it first)-add to pot with tomato soup

•Minced onion to taste

•Black pepper to taste

•1-2 tbsp butter

•Garlic powder or garlic salt to taste

•Basil to taste

•Add all-purpose flour by tbsp and gently whisk in the soup to thicken it up

After you’ve added all ingredients, cover and let it simmer for about 10-15 mins on low-medium heat, stir often to make sure butter is melted and flour is dissolved.

Alternatively, you can melt the butter in the pot first and sauté the seasonings before adding the tomato soup, whipping cream, and flour. 😊

I made some sourdough grilled cheese sandwiches in my snack master toaster, a lot easier than cooking them in a skillet.😅
