WHY SOLO TRAVEL? 👀

If you were looking for a sign to start doing YOU, this is it ‼️

Listen, I didn’t just decide to start solo traveling out of the blue, and the reasons behind it may resonate with you and give you that push you need. ✊

1️⃣ The main reason was I was simply tired of waiting on others to have time to enjoy myself. I didn’t have a passport until a couple years ago, so when we did go, it would be party spots like Tampa, Miami, Houston etc. which were mediocre (IMO) and they’re expensive places so I couldn’t afford to go on my own anyway (even if I wanted to). It was a literal waiting game.

2️⃣ I was not impressed by the places I did see in the States. Don’t get me wrong, there is plenty of beauty all over this country, but again, it would usually be too expensive for me to even go. Not only that, but I was around people who only wanted to party or sit at the beach, I needed more, and those same people wouldn’t travel internationally with me.

3️⃣ As mentioned, traveling within the states is very expensive. To stay in areas I would prefer, it would cost 3-4x as much than outside the country. I’ve been to many places spending less than $500 for flight AND stay. Need I say more?
