Yesterday I was in the mood for a good bowl of gumbo. This only took me probably a hour to make and I didn’t even make the roux from scratch. Here is everything I used listed below . 👇
Ingredients:
Louisiana gumbo base
Smoked sausage
Shrimp
Blue crab lumped meat
Onion
Creole seasoning
Old bay
Garlic minced
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Tony’s seasoning salt
Black pepper
Half a stick of butter
Chicken broth two boxes
Steps to follow 👇
The instructions on the gumbo base bag and chop up your veggies. Once you do that you want to cut up your sausage and cook that in a pan until crispy. Then add the sausage and chicken broth to your roux and stir until your consistency. Once you do that let that simmer and finally add your seafood last. You can eat by itself or along with rice .
