Why Brandy Melville is not for me

Hi Princesses!

Like everyone else, i’m also attracted by brandy’s cute and basic aesthetic. But tbh, what i like most is the way how they layer the pcs onto the mqn. As it elevates the entire look, making it less boring/basic.

So i took inspiration from the mqn display and pick up a few pcs to mix and match.

inner layer - ada top

Puter layer - tiffany tank

Bottom - izzy mini skirt

Rating: 7/10

verdict: i love the ada top and layering it over with tiffany tank was one of the best option. But i didnt get this set due to the fit. Tiffany tank is too loose for me. If i were to wear it separately it will expose my bra and everything else.

verdict: top and skirt alone match perfectly. I an still contemplating one whether i should purchase the ada top as it is very versatile and easy to match with anything. The skirt is a miss despite it’s cuteness cause it’s waayyyy too loose for me🙄

verdict: The only think i like is the colour combi. I hate the fit, the length and everything else.

Inner layer - skylar lace tank

Outer layer - tiffany tank

Rating: 4/10

verdict: Skylar lace tank is so cute due to its lace details. Its a good choice to get this to match any top as base layer. As for tiffany, its a very cute design but same thing it doesnt fit my waist nicely. I hate how the bottom hem flare out. 🤦‍♀️

Inner layer - halter top

Outer layer - casey top

Ratinf: 4/10

verdict: Combi is not too bad but casey top did not fit on my waist as usual. Hence i hate once again. Especially when you compare it with how it look on the mqn. I like the halter top tho but it’s not padded so i did not get it either.

conclusion: will i still try brandy ? I think yes, maybe it wasnt great for this try-out partly because it’s hard to find nice pcs with everyone crowding at every corner. 😅
