the BEST macarons in SG? 🤤

This has been me and my boyfriend’s go-to macaron shop since we were in secondary school.

Sinful Cakes started off as a home based online business back in 2013 (if I’m not wrong) and they would do mass pre-orders and you could collect them at certain MRT stations. Before COVID hit they actually opened a physical store at Kensington Square but like I said - Covid hit so they couldn’t fully open and the shop was only for self pick-ups and there kitchen was there as well.

Their pre-orders would sell out within 1-2 mins on shopee and I’m not even exaggerating. THEY ARE REALLY GOOD. And CONSISTENT.

Sinful Cakes opened their cafe in City Gate back in mid 2022 and I must say their standards are still really high. Still consistent as ever. They sell other pastries now such as giant macarons, cakes, cheesecakes muffins and mochi waffles.

I had the Ondeh ondeh mochi waffles with pistachio ice cream and it tasted exactly like ondeh ondeh. It came with Pandan mochi waffles, gula melaka and coconut shavings.

My favourite macaron flavour is the Rocher. It’s soooooo good. Do try it out for yourself

🌭Dish, Price, Rating: 12pc for $25 (I forgot to take the receipt but i ordered an iced matcha latte and mocha waffles + ice cream and my total bill was $44.60)

🛋Ambience & thoughts: City gate is quite inconvenient if you don’t drive but if you stay along the circle line - there’s a direct over head bridge form the Nicoll Highway MRT
