$35 DESERT CANDLE WORKSHOP 🕯️🎂

so my therapist have been telling me to get a hobby or do more activities to make me happy & i happened to stumble upon this fragrance workshop.

for $35, you get to decorate a dessert candle & customise it for your preferred scent! i mean they have a variety of workshops (hand cream, fragrance, different kinds of candles) but i went along with this as it’s the cutest 🎀

✨the experience✨

i don’t know if it’s only that particular day but on the day of the workshop, it was just me and my friend. but the table setup only has room for 2 (3-4 if you really squeeze) so i’m sure it will be a small session nonetheless!

first, we were told to pick our favourite scents from the range or scents they offered for our candles. you can pick 2 scents!

then we started on the macarons. yes, this was made from scratch! you get to pick your colours, mix it into the wax then pour it into the mold! then while you wait for it to dry, you move on to decorate the cupcake/ dessert you chose!

the base of the cupcake was given to you and you get to frost it! yes it’s like baking hehe. after frosting you get to decorate it as much as you want! as you can see from my photos i choose a large rose and a huge pink bunny and many other cute nicknacks hehe.

after you’re done w the cupcakes, they’ll teach you how to pipe LOL. it’s literally like decorating a cake. i learnt new skills today!! then you get to pipe and decorate your macarons!

overall it was really really a very therapeutic experience! and it’s really affordable as well for the whole experience plus you’ll be bringing your candles back!
