Looking for affordable and hearty meal options at Plaza Singapura / Dhoby Ghaut area?

Consider Tamoya Udon & Tempura at Plaza Singapura! Affordably priced with their cheapest option (Kake Udon) at $8.30, slurp up the bouncy noodles bathed in comforting savoury soup.

My personal favourite is their Sanuki Beef Onsen Egg Udon ($13.20). The beef is not overcooked and the onsen egg brings the umami-level of the soup up to the next tier.

Something cool is that you can choose to order the cold version of this udon and the udon will be served separately from the soup with both being cold! Great if you don’t have much appetite from the hot SG weather.

I’m not tempura expert but I do like their tempura too. With a crispy and light batter, it adds a nice crunch to your meal. I like the kakiage but it may be a lil oily for some. The shiitake mushroom is also yums, having a juicy bite bursting with the natural fragrance of the mushroom.
