My Top 3 Reflections:

💛 Love firmly, yet with an open heart. Learning the in’s and out’s of your partner as their own individual can be tricky. Trust that the roots of your love are firm and foundational, while understanding that old leaves will wilt and new leaves will grow.

💛 Lay shame to rest. It can be easy to take on shame as an identity when it has been spoken over you for so long. My identity lies not in my sexuality (or in anything else) but in my creator. And TRUTH is, God loves me, my girlfriend, and our union. I strive to love her as God loves me.

💛 Do not rush. There is no race to an imaginary “finished line.” Be intentional and PATIENT as you learn to live life in union. Don’t rush through testy conversations. Don’t be passive about time spent together. Don’t skip over what’s important. These are the building blocks. It all matters!
