I am a nonbinary/genderfluid (twospirit) person who is in a relationship with a nonbinary/genderfluid human.

we each identified as lesbian prior to meeting eachother but around a year before we met my partner had socially transitioned into a man (and was no longer a lesbian) so when we met I fell in love with them and out of my lesbian identity.

We have both grown into our fluid relationship with gender identity and the beauty of being human. while she switches between masculine and feminine and I switch between various confusing points of gender, we coined that our relationship is compatible with sapphic love.

Nonbinary identities fit under lesbianism. While we have days we are more masculine we are not men. A lot of conversations about gender, expression and identity were had before this label was ever brought up (its first iteration being part time lesbian, as we both identified as gender fluid lol) but I am so proud of our growth and understanding of each other and ourselves!
