Best foodcourt donburi with restaurant standard?! Fukudon just opened their newest outlet at Velocity Koufu and everything was just amazing and affordable!

Lets start with the truffle wagyu don! The wagyu slices were not tough at all and were so tender! And for one portion, that’s definitely a lot of slices! Truffle taste was very subtle. Next, i loved the garlic purée on the salmon don! Salmon was flaky and tender as well. For the spicy garlic pork don, meat was tender (use this word a lot because all their meat were really tender i was so impressed?!) and it was very flavourful! Last main was the umami cold udon and this is a must try! The udon was chewy and i loved the generous amount of ebiko. They also used sesame dressing so everything went well together!

As for the sides, highly recommend the fries and karaage! The fries were so crispy and they don’t ever get soggy! The karaage are handmade with their special marination and you can really taste it! It was honestly the best karaage i’ve ever had. Both also went well with the curry mayo!

Overall, i really enjoyed their food!! It’s definitely worth the price and quality of the food is there! Pls consider opening in the west 🥹🙏
