Here is what I do after a workout to leave me feeling my absolute best!!
1. Rehydrate:
I love drinking flavored electrolytes after my cardio workouts, especially. Not only does this replenish & refresh me, but it serves as a nice post workout ritual that tastes good!
2. Refuel:
I always try to create a balanced meal post workout to promote effective recovery. this looks like a meal with a protein, fat, and carbs. I also make sure it is delicious and satisfying!
3. Cool down:
Stretching is an important part of my routine, as it promotes effective recovery and prevents injury! Even 2 minutes goes a long way.
