It’s a bit too early in the year for me to dive into the pumpkin and apple fall flavors… so instead I chose to soft launch into the fall recipes with this morning’s delicious baked oats.
If you’re looking for warm and cozy, then look no further. This maple cinnamon baked oats bowl is perfect for a transitional option into the cozy season 😌
Maple cinnamon baked oats:
What you need:
1/2 cup of oats
3/4 cup of milk of choice
1 tsp of baking soda
1/4 tsp of vanilla extract
1/2 of a ripe banana
lots of cinnamon
1 tbsp of pure maple syrup
a few pinches of brown sugar
2-3 tbsp of vanilla protein (this is optional)
How to make:
blend your oats, milk, vanilla, banana, baking soda, protein powder, cinnamon, and maple syrup in a nutribullet or blender
pour the batter into oven-safe bowl and add your brown sugar topping
then, bake at 375 F for about 25 minutes
add milk, more syrup, or nut butter once done and enjoy!
