This is one of my favorite drink recipes to make! It has a lot of minerals and vitamin C. This makes it very hydrating, support your thyroid, and immune system! This can also be called an adrenal cocktail because it supports your adrenals.

The recipe for this “homemade Gatorade” is:

14 oz of organic coconut water

2 tablespoons of organic lemon juice (bonus points for freshly squeezed lemon juice!)

1 pinch of real salt (I love Redmond Real Salt but Celtic salt is also high in minerals!)

10 oz of filter water (here I have reverse osmosis water with added minerals)

Having this drink in between meals with help keep your stress hormones low. Pair it with some protein like string cheese, organic deli meat, grass fed meat stick, or cottage cheese and it will also keep your blood sugars balanced and happy as a mama! This is also great for the kiddos!
