Hihi 😄! So, I posted yesterday about my role as a junior PM in a tech company (check out the post Here), and I’ve been receiving a lot of comments and DMs asking for a rough overview of different roles in various industries and the skills needed for these positions. I wish I had all the answers 🤣, but I realise I might not be the best source, so I TURNED TO MR. GOOGLE, AND HE DELIVERED SOME 🔥 🔥 🔥 😎🖥️.
My research initially led me to Reddit, where I read many threads questioning the reliability of Glassdoor and debating whether it can be trusted. Although we can't confirm the authenticity of all reviews, Glassdoor remains a widely used platform for job research 🧐.
However, I also discovered a list of amazing alternatives that YOU MUST CHECK OUT whether you're job hunting or just want to know if you're being paid what you're worth 😄.
Here's a brief overview of the platforms I mentioned in this post:
1. NODEFLAIR - for my tech friends
2. REPVUE - a go-to for sales leaders
3. REMOTE WORK JUNKIE - perfect for aspiring digital nomads
4. PAYSCALE - a vast database for salary data and career research
5. MORGAN MCKINLEY - for the latest salary guides
I hope this helps in your job research journey! Let me know in the comments if I've missed any great platforms - I might just do a Part 2 then! 😁💪🏻
