Ancestral Veneration

Happy Sunday Y’all

Today we refresh our altars and sit a spell with our ancestors.

Sometimes, the werk you are called to do during the week will call for your altar to actually stay open. If this is the case, make sure you keep that candle going and just do a little straightening up and remove things that no longer serve that space. Still give your new offerings if they asked for it and thank them for the intercession, love, guidance and protection they are providing to you.

As you grow in your practice, you’ll start to see that not all altars work the same. Not all practices are the same and that is ok. Each practitioner brings their own flare.
