WHEN PICK ME GIRLS BECOME MOMS

In my personal experience any time I felt good about myself she would make a back handed comment that would leave me feeling self conscious. When I would put makeup on she would make fun of me and say I looked like a clown. She would compare her younger self and say she looked better than me at that age. Any time I had a boyfriend she would act very friendly towards him and make comments like “she’s so lucky you chose her” and Any argument we’ve ever had has always been about her ect ect but my brother has never experienced this side of my mother! Any time I tried to talk to him about it he would brush me off. My brother is very close with her. Any argument they have is always diffused and laughed off. She openly gives him compliments out of the blue and any time he feels good or tries something new my mother is always there to support him. Good for him though I just moved on and haven’t spoken to my own mother in a while. My father is in the picture but he doesn’t notice it either and thinks I’m just being a woman and overreacting.

What was y’all’s experience with a narcissistic mother/ pick me mom?? Let me know what was y’all’s solution if it was acceptance or just move out?
