$9k worth of goods from Japan!!!

Can you imagine? My friend and I only brought one check-in luggage each to Japan, but by the time we left, she had two check-ins, a carry-on, and a big bag! Meanwhile, I ended up with two check-ins, a big backpack, and a large duffle bag for carry-on.

In just seven days, we covered Tokyo > Kyoto > Osaka > Tokyo. It was hectic, but we had an amazing time. Our only regret? Booking an 8:15 am flight home, which meant checking out of the hotel at 4:30 am and rushing to Narita Airport from Shinjuku. We barely made it, arriving at check-in around 7 am, feeling like all our luggage combined weighed more than us! My haul was mostly matcha-related, while my friend went wild with gacha toys. Worth it? Totally.
