low carb & tasty RICELESS kimbap at Lavender 😋 🍘

went to Oni Kimbap for lunch, the highly raved about riceless kimbap restaurant/cafe in Aperia Mall ☺️ I went there expecting only riceless kimbap but was pleasantly surprised to find out that they sell the usual kimbaps with rice as well 🤤 Here’s what we ordered:

1. Ebi Cheese Kimbap ($10.40)

This was the best out of everything we ordered. The ebi was on point, crispy and flavourful. The cheese gave the kimbap saltiness & enhances the flavour a little. The tamago is so huge, you can taste the sweetness in every bite. Also, i may be bias because i LOVE carbs & can’t live without rice 🍚😂

2. Riceless Bulgogi Kimbap ($11.90)

I was here for the riceless kimbap, and it surely didn’t disappoint. Tamago that was used to replace the rice is slightly sweet, the other ingredients in the kimbap also gave it alot of flavour! It’s a good replacement for people who wants to cut down on their carbs consumption because it taste as good as the usual kimbap. However as a huge rice lover i still find the rice kimbap nicer……🥹

3/4. Tteokbokki Cheese & Kimchi Soup ($6.90 & $4.50)

Fishcakes, sausage, tteokbokki and cheese in tteokbokki cheese. 🧀 Luncheon meat & kimchi in kimchi soup 🥣. Both side dishes taste pretty typical. The amount of tteokbokki is quite little and honestly a little disappointing. I think there were more fishcakes than tteokbokki 😕

Overall, this place is a YAY for me for their main dishes…! I find the side dishes a tad bit pricey & doesn’t taste like anything special 🤓
